50 flights a day leave Tromsø Airport, 13 of them to Oslo, with seamless onward connections to the rest of the world. The city centre is a mere 5km from the airport, and is well connected with airport buses and metered, controlled taxis. The city area has an excellent bus service from 7am to midnight. Buses and boats fan out of Tromsø to neigbouring towns and smaller villages and settlements, and the fabled Coastal Express calls daily at Tromsø.
