The area liable for payment of harbour dues is the harbour district of Tromsø. Services supplied by the Port of Tromsø or use of outdoor areas and special port arrangements that are not covered by the harbour charges will be charged by fees.

The harbour dues are evaluated annually and agreed by the board of Tromsø Havn KF.

Harbour dues to be paid are:

- Call charges
- Ship wharfage fees
- Goods charges
- Security charges
- Fees for the use of sea areas
- Fees for naval ships
- Fees for left over goods
- Fees for overland transport (terminal and wagon fees)
