Healthcare

Tromsø has a well-developed health service suited to its inhabitants’ varied needs and various age groups. A city of this size needs a broad range of services. Among professional personnel and at institutions there are specialists and special accommodations that cover the usual as well as the more uncommon needs. For a university town and host of the University Hospital in Northern Norway, the scope of health expertise is unbelievably great. Recognized research is conducted here, and there is enough expertise to handle most anything.
