Shiploads of fuel can be unloaded at the Port of Churchill and transferred directly to the tank farm on their way to powering and heating the North.
With nine 85,000 litre double walled fuel storage tanks and a state-of-the-art fuel management system, the Churchill Marine Tank Farm receives railcar loads of fuel delivered by the Hudson Bay Railway - and handles the storage and distribution of fuel to northern communities, the Town of Churchill and the Churchill Airport.
